Lawrence Hosts Readiness Forum for 2026 World Cup!
Business owners, community leaders, and area residents are invited to join a powerful event designed to prepare our community for the opportunities surrounding the 2026 World Cup. Hosted by Kira Chereé Cobb of the Actuate Consulting Team in collaboration with The Chamber, Lawrence, this regional forum will be held Monday, April 13, 2026 from 8AM to 12PM at The Oread Hotel in Lawrence, KSThis event is free to attend but space is limited.
This highly anticipated gathering will feature experts and resource providers from across the region, offering actionable insights and guidance for leveraging one of the largest international sporting events ever hosted in the United States.
Event Highlights include an opening general session with important information followed by breakout rooms. Breakout room topics include but are not limited to:
- short term rentals,
- safety, security, and transportation, and
- marketing.
