For 50 years, an assortment of flybys, orbiters, landers and rovers have sent back 100s of terabits of Mars images. At this Science on Tap, Alison Olcott Marshall, KU Professor of Geology, will explore how scientists captured these images, how they interpret them using their knowledge of geology and chemistry on Earth, and how NASA hopes to use these images in the search for signs of life.
