KU Natural History, A Science on Tap Event: The Art and Science of Bees

Bee hotels, bee boxes, sun hives, hollow trees or even a building crevice can all be homes to bees. At this Science on Tap, entomologist Deborah Smith will talk about the diversity of natural bee nests and how to attract bees locally, and sculptor Matthew Burke will discuss a special type of hive created by KU art and design students.
