Come see the newly-planted pollinator garden and Monarch Waystation at the USDA Service Center. Learn what to consider when planting for pollinators and pick up ideas on how to make your area more welcoming to pollinators. At 5:30 p.m., Geary County Extension Agent and bird expert Chuck Otte will speak about hummingbirds and their role as pollinators. Funding for the Pollinator Garden was provided through an award from the Elizabeth Schultz Environmental Fund through the Douglas County Community Foundation.
