The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to participate in our 2009 legislative series, Eggs and Issues. Historically, both the Lawrence community and our membership have always been highly involved in this series, and given the present economic situation, we anticipate an increased community interest level this year! This year's series is slated for three sessions: Eggs & Issues #1: Saturday, February 7th 8-9:30 a.m. Eggs & Issues #2: Saturday, March 7th 8-9:30 a.m. Eggs & Issues #3: Saturday, April 4th 8-9:30 a.m. (#3 pending legislators' availability) Each session will be held in the Crystal Ballroom of the historic Eldridge Hotel in downtown Lawrence. As the series' title implies, we'll enjoy a delicious breakfast as we hear from members of our Douglas County delegation on this year's most pressing issues. Each legislator will be given the opportunity to make a brief presentation after which questions from the audience will be addressed. Cost to attend is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members. Please direct reservations to Jessica at frontdesk@lawrencechamber.com, 785.865.4411 or click on the link to your right to register online. We would also like to acknowledge the following sponsors for their continued generosity in making this event possible: AT&T, Black Hills Energy, Lawrence Memorial Hospital, U.S Bank, McGrew Real Estate, Douglas County Pork Producers, Westar Energy, The World Company and Boeing Wichita Credit Union.
