Big 12, College Football Playoff Foundation, KU Athletics & Lawrence Schools Foundation Reveal Celebration

The Lawrence Schools Foundation/USD 497 was selected by the Big 12 Conference, College Football Playoff Foundation, and KU Athletics as the recipient of the Big 12 Conference Fall Tour Tailgate as part of KU’s Homecoming Weekend. As part of this initiative, the partners are contributing to a renovation of a public school space, and we selected Community Connections @ Pinckney and its new coffee shop space for this exciting transformation.

A special celebration, formal reveal, and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 22, at 10:00 a.m., in collaboration with KU, KU Athletics, College Football Playoff Foundation, the Big 12 Conference team, he Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and the City of Lawrence.
