Ryan RainsThe Douglas County and Lawrence Metro Entrepreneurship Communities, in partnership with Network Kansas, invite you to join us for an exciting and important opportunity to learn how our community can engage entrepreneurs and community leaders to grow trust, connectivity, and equity for entrepreneurs that are most disconnected from the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Join us on Thursday, January 21st from 11:00-12:30 PM, for a presentation from Forward Cities President and CEO, Fay Horwitt, to hear how this organization is partnering with communities to "create, grow, and sustain more equitable opportunities for every entrepreneur." Fay will also be joined by Forward Cities Senior Vice President of Ecosystem Impacts, Nicolas Gunkel to share the Equity for Every Entrepreneur (E3) scorecard and how it could be a resource to Douglas County.
We will also hear from Gabe Munoz, Director for Forward Cities ESHIP Kansas City program on building entrepreneurial ecosystems in Kansas City, Kansas' Central Avenue business district, and Kansas City, Missouri's Troost Corridor. Gabe will share how he engaged and organized small business leaders that have historically been disconnected and marginalized to inspire and cultivate a culture of entrepreneurism and community wealth-building.
ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Click here to register.
