E-State Management, LLC is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Assistant Community Manager to join our growing team in Lawrence, Kansas.
This position is ideal for an individual who has leasing, customer service, office administration, or property management experience and is looking to take the next step in their career. The Assistant Community Manager plays a key role in the daily operations of our apartment communities and works closely with the Community Manager to ensure exceptional service to residents and prospects.
Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of apartment communities
  • Support leasing efforts by responding to inquiries, conducting tours, and following up with prospects
  • Process rental applications and lease documents
  • Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals
  • Maintain accurate resident and prospect records
  • Assist with rent collections and delinquency follow-up
  • Handle resident concerns and provide exceptional customer service
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff regarding work orders and resident requests
  • Conduct apartment, move-in, move-out, and property inspections
  • Assist with marketing, occupancy goals, and resident retention programs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and fair housing regulations
  • Serve as acting manager in the absence of the Community Manager when needed
Qualifications
  • Previous property management, leasing, office administration, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn property management software
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
