Meet the President - An Informal Meet & Greet with Larry McElwain

Please join us for a friendly and informal "Meet & Greet" mixer with new Chamber President & CEO, Larry McElwain, on Tuesday, July 22, at the new Legends restaurant, at 1540 Wakarusa, from 4 - 6 p.m.

As a local business owner and active Chamber member of more than 40 years (including a stint as Chair of the Board of Directors), Larry is already a familiar face and name in Chamber circles and around the Lawrence community. In his few short weeks at the helm, Larry has already reached out to local officials and business leaders and is now eager to meet the Chamber membership as well. 

There will be no formal presentation, just casual conversation with Larry, his family and your fellow Chamber members. The mixer is free to attend and reservations are not necessary. Complimentary appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided courtesy of Legends. Adult beverages, including locally crafted 23rd Street Brewery products, can be purchased at the bar or via wait staff on hand.
