Mars Attacks! A Myths and Mayhem Film Event Thursday, April 14, 7 p.m.?KU Natural History Museum In honor of all things Mars in Lawrence this spring, join the museum?s student group, NSCO, for "Mars Attacks!"This parody of 1950s science fiction is directed by Tim Burton and features aliens with a cruel sense of humor. We will have free popcorn and assistant professor of geology, Dr. Alison Olcott Marshall, will lead a lively discussion on the scientific accuracy of martians portrayed in the film and the majesty of Tom Jones.
