Lawrence Habitat Women Build Gala

The goal of Lawrence Habitat for Humanity is to provide simple, decent, affordable housing for low to moderate income families in Douglas County. We believe in a homeownership process that empowers families to create ongoing change in their lives.

Our Women Build program recruits, educates and nurtures women to build – and advocate for – affordable housing in our community. With this goal in mind, the Women Build program brings together women from all walks of life to not only volunteer on the construction of Habitat homes, but to also fundraise to make the home building process even possible. In Lawrence, our Women Build program has sponsored 10 homes and will begin work on the 11th home this year.

Your support of our Women Build Gala will help a family achieve their dream of home ownership. Our gala includes champagne, heavy appetizers, an online auction and the 2026 calendar reveal.
