Get together with Lawrence Jayhawks for a special, guided tasting with the master brewers from our own Free State Brewing. The KU Biodiversity Institute is teaming up with the KU Alumni Association to discover what beer and biodiversity research have in common. The event will feature a flight of six beers along with an explanation of the brewing process and the flavor complexities associated with each brew. KU Natural History Museum staff will invite you to learn about the relationship between microbes and beer, and offer the chance to participate in a living microbe exhibit being installed at the museum. Admission is $15 for KUAA members and $25 for nonmembers and includes the beer flight.
