On Tuesday April 3rd, Northeast Kansas Library System will host Kansas Highway Patrol Technical Trooper Donald Hughes for KASM training. TWO SESSIONS will be offered -- one in the morning (10 a.m. to Noon) and one in the afternoon (1:30 to 3:30 p.m.)
"The Kansas Active Shooter Mitigation (KASM) course teaches active shooter awareness and training to school administrators and businesses. This program provides critical information in a timely manner on what to expect in the event of an active shooter, as well as potential options and considerations to mitigate that threat."

The training will be held at Northeast Kansas Library System, 4317 W. 6th Street, Lawrence, Kansas, 66049. If parking is full please use the First Southern Baptist Church parking across the street. This event will be upstairs; the elevator is near the rear entrance.
