The Douglas County Elections Office is located at 711 W. 23rd St., Suite 1, which is in the shopping mall at the southwest corner of 23rd and Louisiana streets.
Voter information for Nov. 8 general election
The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 8. Polling locations will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. For your voter information, visit: myvoteinfo.voteks.org/voterview
Registered voters can cast their ballots early at the Douglas County Elections Office, 711 W. 23rd St., Suite 1, at the following times:
8 a.m.-7 p.m. - Monday-Friday, Oct. 31-Nov. 4
9 a.m.-1 p.m. - Saturday, Nov. 5
8 a.m.-noon - Monday, Nov. 7
Additional times and locations include:
10 a.m.- 7 p.m. Monday-Friday, Oct. 31-Nov. 4 at the Golf Course Superintendents Building, Flory Meeting Hall at the Douglas County Fairgrounds and Lied Center Pavilion.
9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, Lecompton City Hall, Eudora City Hall and Baldwin City Fire Station.
Advance ballots can be returned by mail or in person:
If returning by mail, it must be postmarked by Tuesday, Nov. 8, and received by Friday, Nov. 11.
If returning in person, the ballot must be returned by 7 p.m. on Election Day. It can be returned in a drop box within Douglas County, at the Elections Office, 711 W. 23rd St., Suite 1, during business hours, or any polling location in the county during voting hours on Election Day.
