Business After Hours by Kansas Public Radio | August 2026

Join us on Thursday, August 6 from 4pm to 6pm for The Chamber's Business After Hours mixer hosted by Kansas Public Radio! Learn more about Kansas Public Radio and how they may be able to support your business.

During the event, enjoy hosted charcuterie, snacks, lemonade/iced tea bar, and dirty sodas while engaging in activities! Activities will include:
- Visit Audio Reader's beautiful sensory garden
- Station Tours and history with KPR News Director, J. Schafer
- Live music in our performance studio. Behind the scenes of audio and video recording of live performance
- Record your own underwriter announcement, KPR station ID (to be used on-air), breaking news or severe weather report
- Station scavenger hunt
- Visit with our on-air hosts and development team

And don't miss your chance for a lucky business to win an underwriting package!

Carpooling is encouraged. Parking in the KPR lot will be covered for guests but there are about 20 spots.
Parking on KU campus opens up at 5pm so folks can park anywhere near us after 5pm. 

Business After Hours mixers are always free and open to all Chamber members and guests. No reservations required to attend.
