Vision Statement: A Stronger Community through Housing

History: The Lawrence Board of REALTORS® Community Foundation is the charitable arm of the Lawrence Board of REALTORS®. Prior to establishing our 501(c)(3), The Lawrence Board of REALTORS® Community Relations Committee has assisted families in case management by paying toward housing costs, utility payments, badly needed car repairs, tuition assistance, medical assistance & supplies, clothes & winter coats, as well as gas & groceries for families.

Since becoming a 501(c)(3) in July 2018, the LBOR Community Foundation has awarded over $70,000 to local non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations as well as over $52,000 in housing assistance following the 2019 tornado that hit Douglas County in May, 2019.
