Tickets cost $35 for the general public\, $25 for public safety officers and are free for children 10 and younger.\n\n\nThe Valor Public Safety Awards is a community-wide hero recognition program\, was created by the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Harry Herington\, CEO\, NIC Inc. Honorees are recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty\, and their children are awarded a one-time $1\,000 stipend upon entering an institute of secondary education. The Valor Public Safety Scholarship Fund is a 501 (c) 3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.
