DESCRIPTION:For more than 30 years\, the Taste of Lawrence has been held annually to honor our local educators and showcase some of our community's finest dining establishments. Always a great time\, the event is aptly named as those in attendance are truly offered a taste of the Lawrence Community. \n\n\n\nHeld in the open air\, on the gently sloping grounds of Meadowbrook Apartments\, the mixer is by far the Chamber's largest\, and one of its most enjoyable\, social engagements of the year. \n\n \n\nDon't miss out on the Taste of Lawrence! Tickets for the evening are just $25 for Chamber members\, only half-price for ALL employees of Douglas County educational facilities and $40 for the general public. \n\n\n\nTickets will be on sale beginning late-August. LOCATION:Held outside\, on the grounds of Meadowbrook Apartments\, on the northeast corner of the intersection at Bob Billings and Crestline Drive. Parking and shuttle are available from adjacent lots at the Lied Center and West Campus grounds.
