"This solar installation will help Family Promise allocate more of their resources to accomplish their extremely important mission." \n\n\n\nFor families with literally nowhere else to go\, Family Promise can provide a safe\, trauma-informed\, and low barrier temporary shelter to mitigate the trauma of unsheltered homelessness\, especially for children. The goal of the shelter program is to provide the shortest amount of stay possible and quickly connect families to a longer-term housing solution\, utilizing case management and community support. \n\n\n\n"This generous donation will continue to be a gift long into the future of FPL by offsetting the cost of electricity for years to come\, allowing us to put that money into direct costs of serving families.
