DESCRIPTION:Kansas Athletics and the KU Alumni Association have partnered with LIVE ON MASS to get the 2017 Kansas Football season kicked off with an exciting event - a pep rally and concert.\n\n\n\nAll ages are welcome to the event\, which will be in the 1000 block of Massachusetts St. Gates will open at 6 p.m.\, with the pep rally starting at 7:30 p.m. The pep rally will feature appearances from head coach David Beaty\, the KU Spirit Squad\, and the Pep Band.\n\n\n\nThe Phantastics\, a seven-member band from Kansas City\, will headline the concert following the pep rally. Opening acts include The Band That Saved the World\, Lucas Parker Band\, and DJ Josh Powers.
