DESCRIPTION:Grab the remote and get ready to flip the channel\, because for one night only\, the Lied Center of Kansas is turning into Lawrence's very own channel for your favorite cartoon shows and bands\, all for Lights On! 2026.\n\nLights On! is back\, and this year we're "In Toon!" A playful spin on "in tune\," this year's theme brings the stage to life with routines set to music from cartoon shows and bands\, turning your favorite animated soundtracks into a dance performance complete with costumes\n\nThis yearly competition stars members from all 11 Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence elementary sites and our Teen Center. Each site works with their choreographers to put together a routine straight out of your favorite Saturday morning lineup. Now in its 27th year\, Lights On! celebrates the importance of after school programs nationwide.\n\nOur club kids have worked hard since the start of the school year to put this show together\, and we can't wait for them to show you their moves.
