SUMMARY:Lawrence Charity Challenge Blood Drive
DESCRIPTION:Did you know that Community Blood Center is the ONLY provider of blood\, platelets\, plasma\, and convalescent plasma to Lawrence Hospital and 90% of all hospitals in the greater KC Metro area?  We need to collect 600 pints per day to meet the local needs.  Since the pandemic we have lost over 25\,000 donors who have not returned yet to donate. But\, like many of you\, we've had to pull together\, get creative\, and make some lemonade.\n\n \n\nNot only will the Charity Challenge reward two participating charities with a donation sponsored by Central Bank and help to save lives\, it will also bring awareness to some great nonprofits and their missions.
