DESCRIPTION:Community Blood Center and Central Bank are hosting the 4th Annual Lawrence Charity Challenge blood drive\, where local (Lawrence and Douglas County) 501c3 non-profits compete to recruit the most blood donors for a chance to win a monetary donation for their organization.\n\nFirst place =$1\,000\n\nSecond place =$500\n\n\n\nCBC also declared a blood emergency on Monday\, July 13\, as we are at a 1-2 day supply when optimal is 7 days. CBC needs to collect 600+ pints per day to supply over 65 hospitals. \n\n\n\nPlease join us to donate on behalf of one of the non-profit organizations below. In one hour\, you can save up to 3 lives and help a non-profit.
