DESCRIPTION:The City of Lawrence is excited to announce our Independence Day event\, Summerfest 2023!\n\n\nThis unmistakable and exciting\, FREE event is coming to the Douglas County Fairgrounds on Monday\, July 3rd\, and will feature the following:\n\n\n\nAn Arts & Crafts Show from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.\n\nFood Trucks\n\nA lecture from the Kansas City WWII Museum\n\nPlay Well TEKnologies' Lego  building\n\nLive music from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.\n\nAnd\, last but not least\, a community fireworks display in the evening (around 9:30 p.m.)\n\n\n\nSCHEDULE\n\n10:00 a.m.   5:00 p.m.: Summerfest Arts and Crafts Festival\n\n11:00 a.m.: Food trucks arrive\n\n4:00 p.m.: Live music begins\n\n4:00 p.m. Free State Brewery beer sales begin\n\n9:45 p.m.: Fireworks viewing at the "Derby Arena" inside the Fairgrounds
