The vigil will provide an opportunity for the community to remember victims\, honor survivors\, and explore ways to act toward making a difference. \n\nActivities will start at 5:30 p.m. with a resource fair of local organizations sharing community resources. The Clothesline Project returns this year\, displaying t-shirts decorated by survivors\, allies\, and those who have lost loved ones to violence. Shirts and fabric markers will be available. The purpose of the project is to increase awareness of the impact of violence and abuse\, to honor a survivor's strength to continue\, and to provide another avenue for them to courageously break the silence that often surrounds their experience. \n\n\n\nThe program begins at 6:30 PM with live music and speakers and ends at 7:30 with candle lighting.
