DESCRIPTION:Please join us at Maceli's\, Wednesday\, July 16\, from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.\, for a meet and greet function with the candidates for our upcoming elections\, presented in conjunction with the Voter Education Coalition (VEC). \n\n\n\nAll candidates on the August and November ballots will be invited\, including those in the contested races for the 45th Kansas House Republican (Tom Sloan/Jeremy Ryan Pierce)\, 46th Kansas House Democratic (Abbie Hodgson/Dennis 'Boog' Highberger) and 1st Douglas County Commission (Mike Gaughan/Greg Robinson). \n\n\n\nGuests will be introduced to the candidates and hear their respective positions and visions on issues that impact Lawrence and Douglas County.
