SUMMARY:5th Annual Lawrence Police Foundation Car 54 Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The 5th Annual Car 54 Golf Tournament will be held Monday\, September 26th at the Orchards Golf Course. This unique 9-hole tournament is a 2-person scramble which limits each player to only three clubs. It begins with an actual shotgun start at 4pm and is followed by dinner under the stars.\n\n\n\nThis is a fundraiser for the Lawrence Police Foundation. Since February\, 2015 our fundraising efforts have provided Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training to the Lawrence Police Department\, area law enforcement and community agencies/partners. This training prepares our law enforcement and other agencies to better respond to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. To date we have provided this important training to 154 people in Douglas County. Our previous fundraising efforts provided an Automated External Defibrilator (AED) for each Lawrence Police Department patrol car.\n\n\n\nThe golf tournament is limited to 27 teams (54 players) and it sells out every year so register TODAY. You can download a registration form at our website. Unable to golf? Download a sponsorship form at our website.\n\n\n\nIf you have questions feel free to contact Michelle Derusseau 785-764-3619.
