DESCRIPTION:For the past 40 years we have recognized individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to the mental health landscape in Douglas County. This year we are honored to host the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble. Reception at 5:30pm\; program begins promptly at 6:00pm. This event is free to attend\, but registration is required.\n\nThank you to our generous sponsors for making this celebration possible: Johnny's Tavern\, Kindred CPA\, SSC CPAs + Advisors\, Stevens & Brand\, and Truity Credit Union.\n\nThank you to the University of Kansas School of Music\, Dean and Conductor Dr. Paul Popiel\, and the KU Wind Ensemble musicians for sharing their talent to make this community event so special.\n\nJoin us as we present the Pioneer Awards to David Johnson & the Lyn Smith Award to Don Grosdidier. We will also present the Sandra Shaw and Virginia Vickers Spirit Awards to current Bert Nash Center team members (TBA).
